Software Engineer (Operations technology) - Chicago

What you'll do:

• Work with operations and software engineers to enable visibility into the real-time state of our accounts as well as handle general post-trade work such as trade reconciliation.
• Develop across multiple layers, from UI to back-end, and work actively with others to produce easy-to-maintain and robust code.
• Use technologies such as:
  • Python 3
  • Kafka
  • Postgres/SQL
  • Java

Skills you need:

• 3+ years of full-time software development experience
• Proficiency with Python
• SQL experience
• Experience with Java is a plus but not required
• A history of building software effectively, using automated tests
• Experience in finance, especially back office, is beneficial but not required
