Prop Risk Trader, Equity Vol - London

Find out more about the role

Why am I reading this ?

You have established your experience in the global equity volatility market and have run a successful book. You have the knowledge and skill to sustain consistently high Sharpe ratios and have the confidence to take specific risks in volatile market conditions. However, you have lacked the infrastructure and technical environment to grow the book further. Would you now like the backing and commitment from an established prop firm to support your trading style and deploy sophisticated technologies to do so.

Tell me more …

This is the opportunity to leverage a market-leading low latency infrastructure for your execution. You will be taking proprietary positions in Global Equity Vol markets and partner with Risk Management colleagues to ensure they understand all aspects of the trading strategies and associated analytics framework. You will work with quants and data teams to support an analytics and backtesting framework for your trades and monitor/report on trade execution costs and market impact as an input to broker/dealer selection.

Who's the client?

I can't tell you who they are just yet … but its a global group of experienced industry professional and quantitative experts. At the intersection of technology and human mind, they have created a melting pot of market wisdom and technical innovation which has produced three decades of growth and a truly diversified view of the markets. They have a rooted presence across equities, fixed income, commodities, crypto and real estate, and are  expanding globally this year.
